Το μεσημέρι του Σαββάτου υπήρξε αναφορά του Alarm Phone, για 50 επιβαίνοντες σε σκάφος με σπασμένη μηχανή που πλέει νότια της Κρήτης, στο Τυμπάκι Ηρακλείου.

Σύμφωνα με την οργάνωση, ειδοποιήθηκε το Λιμενικό Σώμα που ανταποκρίθηκε στο κάλεσμα και ανέφερε πως προχωρά σε διάσωση. «Ελπίζουμε όλοι οι επιβαίνοντες να μεταφερθούν σε ασφάλεια στην Ελλάδα σύντομα», σημείωνε το Alarm Phone.

Ωστόσο, αργά το βράδυ του Σαββάτου, με νέα αναφορά, το Alarm Phone ανέφερε πως είχε επικοινωνία με τους συγγενείς προσφύγων που είναι στη βάρκα, που σημείωναν πως μπαίνει νερό στο σκάφος, το οποίο ρυμούλκησε το Λιμενικό σε τοποθεσία νότια της Κρήτης, χωρίς όμως να τους βγάλει στη στεριά.

Σύμφωνα πάντα με το Alarm Phone, το συντονιστικό κέντρο διάσωσης στον Πειραιά αρνείται να επιβεβαιώσει το περιστατικό, με την οργάνωση να εκφράζει φόβους για ενδεχόμενη επαναπροώθηση των προσφύγων.
