Οι Αμερικανοί υπήρξαν αναμφίβολα ένα εξαιρετικά επιτυχημένο σχήμα στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1980 και μέχρι τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1990.

Κυριάρχησαν στην παγκόσμια μουσική σκηνή όχι μόνο με δίσκους ογκόλιθους και μεγάλες επιτυχίες, αλλά και με τις… αταξίες, παραξενιές και αλητείες τους.

Σε λίγες ημέρες, στις 22 Ιουλίου, θα τους απολαύσουμε ξανά στην Αθήνα, στο ΟΑΚΑ [όλες οι πληροφορίες ΕΔΩ ]με τη συναυλία τους να αποτελεί ένα από τα σπουδαία μουσικά γεγονότα των τελευταίων ετών.

Πριν, όμως, βάλουμε στο repeat (όχι ότι δεν τα θυμόμαστε) τα μεγάλα τους τραγούδια, ας θυμηθούμε κι έναν άλλον τομέα στον οποίο κυριάρχησαν και αυτός δεν είναι άλλος από τα βιντεοκλίπ.

Ο Axl, ο Slash, ο Duff και η υπόλοιπη αλητοπαρέα είχαν την τύχη να δημιουργούν σε μια περίοδο όπου το MTV ήταν κάτι παραπάνω από καθεστώς και η κάθε επιτυχία έπρεπε να συνοδεύεται από ένα δυνατό βίντεο.

Οι Guns n’ Roses ταν πήγα εξαιρετικά και σε αυτόν τον τομέα πότε παρουσιάζοντας το love story του τραγουδιστή τους, πότε αναμετρώμενοι με τον Terminator Άρνολντ Σβαρτζενέγκερ και άλλα πολλά.
